It's 6:30 on a Saturday night and I'm getting ready to go to bed. Jet lag caught me and it caught me good. My body clock is so whacked that I've been bolting upright at 2 a.m. every night for the last week...and can't get back to sleep. It feels like a giant hangover; no spunk, no memory, no motivation. Complete with a perfunctory morning headache, this thing comes knocking every day. When will it let me free? I don't ever remember being the victim of jet lag before, no matter where I've traveled.

During the day I sift through, edit and doctor photos; 2,200 to pare down! (Can you imagine?)

I finally got Delhi, Mathura, Fatehpur Sikri, Agra and the train ride up on Facebook. I saw Carolyn's of Varanasi; they were terrific. I just finished my second edit of that batch. Still have like three hundred on the "best" photo list, so need to go through them again. Whew! If only you saw what we saw. The good times were flying past, but not too quick for the camera! lol.

I haven't dragged myself out of the house except for work, and that is some rough time; just staying awake and maintaining some minute semblance of concentration is a major undertaking. My ankles are STILL swollen. I went home Friday at lunch just to get in bed and put them up!

Well, this is it for now, but first, I'll try to post a couple of the darling kid pics I garnered.

The traffic in India!
