Hoorah! I slept until 6 a.m. yesterday and kicked the jet lag. Felt so good I went in to work (on a Sunday)! I've finished paring my enormous photo collection down to bite-size pieces, and am presently loading them on Google's Picasa web site so others can see them. People on Facebook have already seen enough to choke a horse, but the term "National Geographic" did come up once, so I am proud of the turn out!

Carolyn and I have been exchanging oodles of comments on Facebook about the photos, which makes it lots of fun. Janet (my old friend from H.S.) wants to come with us on our next trip! Now that I have seen ~and virtually lived within~ one ancient civilization (Great Zimbabwe not withstanding), China is kind of ringing a bell for me.

I will go to Chixilube, Mexico to stay with Jacque over Christmas, but next summer is always free! hehe. Perhaps this entry needs some sages...let's see what pics I can find...
